GIBA’s intended learning ecosystem will connect knowledge, competency and professional practice. This page explains the intended direction only — it is under development.
Learning pathways
Future learning pathways would link GBOK knowledge to intended competencies, giving professionals a structured route through the field. No pathways are published yet.
Curriculum alignment
Curriculum alignment would describe how learning content maps to the knowledge and competency architectures — enabling consistency without prescribing a single provider’s materials.
Training providers
GIBA intends, in future, to describe a training-provider relationship. No provider-approval scheme exists today, and no provider is recognised, endorsed or listed.
Academic alignment
Academic alignment with universities is an intended future direction. No agreements exist, and none may be implied.
Training completion is not certification
Completing a course would demonstrate participation, not certified competence. GIBA maintains this distinction so that learning is never mistaken for professional recognition.
